Responsible for developing strategic medium- and long-term mine plans that optimize reserve extraction, production efficiency, and overall mine value. The role ensures mine planning strategies align with operational capabilities, business objectives, and Good Mining Practice principles to support sustainable mining operations.

• Develop medium- and long-term mine plans, including ultimate pit design, mine sequencing, and production scheduling in line with business objectives.
• Prepare production forecasts and equipment requirements to support efficient and sustainable mining operations.
• Optimize pit design and mining sequences to maximize resource recovery while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Monitor mine plan performance by analyzing plan versus actual production and recommending continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Geology, Survey, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between mine plans and field execution.
• Prepare mine planning reports, production forecasts, and technical presentations for management review.
• Ensure all mine planning activities comply with Good Mining Practice, safety standards, and applicable mining regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in medium- or long-term mine planning within the coal mining industry.
• Proficient in mine planning software such as Minescape, Spry, Surpac, Vulcan, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of pit optimization, ultimate pit design, mine sequencing, production forecasting, and reserve utilization.
• Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret mining data.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to operational excellence and safety.
