Deputy Port Manager
Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing end-to-end port operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely coal handling while maintaining strong coordination across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end port operations (stockpile, jetty, barging, vessel loading)
Ensure throughput targets and shipment schedules are consistently achieved
Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cycle time optimization
Collaborate with mine, hauling, and shipping teams to maintain supply chain continuity
Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and operational compliance
Monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime or related field
4–8 years experience in coal port/jetty operations (Superintendent level or above)
Proven track record in ports handling ≥3 million tons/year
Strong expertise in barge & vessel loading, stockpile management, and coal logistics
Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and cross-functional coordination
