Foreman Plant & Maintenance
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for manpower allocation and job distribution based on workforce composition.
Ensure all units requiring repair are properly identified and prepare the necessary tools and spare parts for unscheduled maintenance activities.
Ensure all mechanical work is carried out in accordance with work instructions and Shop Manuals.
Maintain the quality control (QC) of unscheduled maintenance work to prevent rework.
Ensure the availability of safety equipment under their responsibility.
Monitor mechanics’ attendance and discipline.
Ensure the quality of every job through final inspection/checking.
Monitor and analyze premature equipment breakdowns within the assigned area.
Monitor and analyze equipment technical issues through the review of work processes and subordinate mechanics’ work results.
Supervise and identify conditions that may lead to incidents or accidents and implement preventive actions to minimize risks.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Plant Foreman.
Proficiency in heavy equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Able to read and understand Shop Manuals.
Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
Expertise in Quality Control (QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
Disciplined, communicative, and willing to work in field/site environments.
